Story outline

•Dr strange teleports the hulk and spiderman back however they end up in the minion universe with a twist but while teleporting they set off a gas what makes the hulk go insane and kills off some minions in the process the player will have to eliminate the hulk.

•After eliminating the hulk dr strange and spiderman meet Gru and in this universe Gru is always in a rush because he has the weight of the entire city of new York on his shoulders with dr Nefario.

•After settling down and explaining there situation Gru speaks about the joker what shocks Dr strange and spiderman.

•A search for the joker is happening with the player needing to run around and find clues.

•The joker makes a successful bank robbery however the player and the hero's have a lead on the joker now.

•They stand outside the jokers layer in awe and shock.

•The player and the hero's break through the doors however there are traps and enemy's ahead.

•When they go past the defences of the jokers layer the player will fight the joker who is the final boss.

•At the end Dr strange goes back to the normal universe with spiderman and they end up meeting captain America welcoming them back.

My audience is a tween audience who are between the ages of 8-13 and I have made research by making a Microsoft forms and asking questions like

From this research it backs my idea of having a game based on minions because minions are goofy characters who are liked by that age range and also they enjoy action games and combat like Fortnite as well as they enjoy super heroes so I included characters like the hulk, spider man and dr strange and making the villain the joker

I have used a primary source with Microsoft forms where I sent a list of questions where I was able to collect data and that's how I ended up with this minion superhero game.

I gathered data from a Microsoft forms its relevant because I don't have a lot of people in my family in the tween age range so I got my dad to send the form out to his work colleagues so that I can get a bigger pool of data to work with

The lack of family members in that age range I overcame it by making the Microsoft forms

When looking there isn't many tween targeted statistics and this source what I found through reddit is the closest I have been to finding any secondary source

And another statistic what helps my case in making this minion film into a tween game: "nearly 90 percent of the audience for Illumination and Universal's The Rise of Gru is 25 and under, with 25 percent of attendees being younger than 12 years old."

Reason of superheros

I found a source on statistica what is based on yougov Viewership of Marvel superhero movies by age group in the U.S. 2018 | Statista 

Yes although I am making a tween game but the fact that its consistent that the younger audience shows that they are watching superhero films before that age 

And with dr strange it's the joint 1st watched audience at that age range and spiderman is the most watched from teens

This statistic shows that younger audience enjoy marvel films even if it isn't the entire majority

Hello, I'm here today to tell you why my game idea is the best for a tween comedy starting off the with the statistics what I have made from a Microsoft form with the questions of What are your favourite computer/console games?, Why do you enjoy your choice of game on computer/console? , What comedy films do you enjoy? And Are there any scenes in particular that stand out in the comedy film of your choice?

For the 1st question out of 18 answers 7 answered with some kind of action game what was 1st person and they were Fortnite and Call of duty what links back to my game idea of it being a action based 1 or 3rd person shooter but that's up to the player to interact within the settings

2nd Why do you enjoy your choice of game on computer/console? In this question I was looking for why they enjoy playing game and despite there not being a majority of agreeance but large part of 11 answers 3 said playing with there friends so its important to have the game where it can be in multiplayer and another thing that people answered was culture related either being music outfits or graphics being 4 people who answered with what I have said.

3rd being what comedy films do you enjoy 4 out of 11 say minions however despite saying comedy one said superheroes films what shows how big superheroes can be in game.

4th talking about what scenes stand out in those comedy films and regarding with the minions one said all the minions scenes and the other just saying minions showing that the minions can be the main humour of the game even though Gru and Dr Nefario can both be funny in there own right.

My game is about a scenario after defeating Thanos on the planet of titan Dr strange creates a portal way back however it ends up in the minion universe and DR Strange takes spiderman and the hulk with him.

However when they did accidently end up in the minion universe they release a gas what makes the hulk go insane and the player has to defeat the Hulk and in the mean time some of the minions die from the gas

After defeating the Hulk you meet up with the minions Gru and Dr Nefario however the alarm goes off and the joker has robbed the bank but you can now follow the joker in the Grumobile however in this game joker defeated Batman that's why Gru is here to counter balance the joker.

When they chase the joker they end up at the jokers base however he closes the door in front of the superheroes faces and then after a few attempts Dr strange was able to use his fire whips to break down the door.

However there are traps for the player to navigate to get to the joker himself and when you reach him Dr Nefario freezes him with the freeze ray and he gets shattered by Dr strange

Why is it action based:

Because there's puzzles when chasing the joker and the characters are action based like spiderman.

How is the script humours because despite the script not showing the true amount of humour because it would be silly if I added minion sound effects or just silliness but the script still includes moments like spiderman saying "I'm bored where's all the action at".

Script itself:

Spiderman: he, he's dead iron man…

Dr strange: yes Iron man is dead its time to go home

Hulk: throws a massive bolder in rage

Dr strange: (opens portal ) its time to leave

The superheroes: huh where are we

(sound effect gas leak)

The superheroes: oh no we have to get out of here

Minions: suffocating sound effect but some live

Hulk: (rage noise)

Dr strange Spiderman: calm down

Hulk: attacks spiderman and dr strange

Dr strange and spiderman: he's gone insane we are going to have to eliminate the hulk

Spiderman: wraps hulk in a cobwebs

Dr strange: uses his laser fire to eliminate the hulk

Superhero's: we need to get out of here

Gru: What has happened to my Lab

Dr Nefario: indeed there looks like there has been a mess

Gru: thinking ah well would you like to save this city with us

Superheroes: sure

Dr Nefario: excellent let me show you around the lab

Dr Nefario: ( explains everything about the lab things like the shrink ray and freeze gun and all other devices)

Dr strange: fascinating

Spiderman: I'm bored where's all the action at

Gru and Dr Nefario: (laughs) don't worry there's plenty around here especially with the joker

Dr strange and spiderman: (in disbelief)what but what about batman and the joker died ages ago

Gru and Dr Nefario: well in batman's sleep he got kidnapped and was eliminated by the joker and now we were assigned to save this place

Spiderman and Dr strange: do we have any clues what he is up to

Gru and Dr Nefario:unfort…

Alarm goes off and the minions start panicking

Gru and Dr Nefario: well looks like we have a potential lead lets see what the joker is up to

Dr strange spiderman: what happened

Gru and Dr Nefario: joker has been caught during a bank heist

Dr strange spiderman: lets go

Minions: pushes in front of them into the Grumobile

Gru: don't worry its what they do

Everyone: lets get this started

Grumobile: starts running

Gru: There he is

Joker: Haha you think you and your friends can stop me

Joker: enters the joker base leaving the superheroes behind

Gru :rages and starts banging onto the door

Spiderman and Dr strange: they both use there powers to break down the door

Gru: HAHA we are in

Dr strange: I sense there are traps here be cautious

Superheroes: as they traverse the jokers base they end up seeing the joker himself

Joker: well well well look what the cat dragged in

Gru: who you calling us what the cat dragged in

Joker: starts trying to mind control Gru

Minions: dr Nefario do something

Dr nafario: okay okay

Dr nafario: Freeze Ray

Spiderman: throws his bomb at the frozen joker and then shatters into pieces

Dr strange: opens portal looks like our work is done lets go home

Captain America: welcome back

Spiderman and Dr strange: we are welcome to back here too

Conclusion:

Overall I believe that I have the best game idea because its humours because the additions of the minions and the characters like Gru and Dr Nefario and also there are characters that are popular within in that age range like spiderman and the hulk not so much Dr strange but he's crucial to the lore of the game itself and its also very action base when it comes to chasing the joker what the audience enjoys action.
